Sanskrit is an encyclopaedia,says NCST panel chief

Tirupati: The Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Tribe (NCST) Nandakumar Sai has said that Sanskrit is an encyclopaedia which has everything in it.

He quoted epic Ramayana to explain the good qualities the mankind should have. He visited Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) along with other members of the Commission on Monday to review the ongoing programmes and other welfare measures to STs there.

Later, he addressed the students. RSVP Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma praised Nanda Kumar for his thrust for the language. Members of National Commission for ST Sisir Kumar Bansal, Abhishek Dube, RSVP Registrar Prof GSR Krishna Murthy, Academic Dean Prof RLN Sastri and others participated.
