SBI holds regional consultative meet in Ongole

Ongole: The State Bank India concluded the very first two-day consultative meeting to review the functioning of the bank as per the national interests and also to design the first phase of the primary consultative process on Sunday.

The SBI regional manager, V Krishnamohan, deputy general manager of the zonal head office in Hyderabad Nanjunda Murthy participated in the meeting and received suggestions from the bankers.

The regional manager announced that they opined to find new ways to loans, utilise technology and big data analysis to transform banking as a citizen-centric and friendly to senior citizens, farmers, MSME, traders, youth, women, and students.

He said that the bank has identified various ways to better the working style and design the future road map. He announced that they sent the proposals and branch wise analysis to the SLBC and zonal office for the discussion and decided to compare intra and inter banking work style and implement the best practices in all nationalised banks.

The SBI Ongole main branch has also organised a loan mela and the branch chief manager B Murali Krishna inaugurated it. The bank officials explained the customers about various loans like education, home, personal and pension loans. They also distributed the fingerprint scanners for free to the small merchants and made the customers download yono app through play store for safe internet banking and easy payments at merchant outlets.
