SC Judge offers prayers at Tirumala

Tirumala: Supreme Court Judge Justice Vineeth Saran offered prayers in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Friday morning. The Judge was earlier received by Special Officer (SO) AV Dharma Reddy at the main entrance of the temple and had darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Later, the Supreme Court judge was rendered with Vedasirvachanam by a team of Vedic scholars inside Ranganayakula Mandapam. The SO offered prasadams and laminated photo to the SC Judge. Later, he visited TTD Annaprasadam Complex in Tirumala and interacted with the pilgrims taking food.

He also visited the kitchen in the complex where food items are prepared daily for free distribution to the pilgrims visiting Tirumala. Catering Officer Sastry explained the arrangements in place for preparation of food for more than one lakh people daily in the Annadanam Complex and also the effective system for distribution of the food. Temple Deputy EO Harindranath and others were present.
