SCDS batch leaves for Italy on study programme in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: As many as 25 students of Samana College of Design Studies (SCDS) from two Telugu states, a faculty member along with CEO Sheeba left to Milan, Italy on Friday to attend the student exchange programme at 'NABA', said the SCDS chairperson Samana Hussaini.
Addressing the media she said that SCDS was the first college that proved an international exposure to its designers. She said that they had left no stone unturned and worked hard to achieve this moment of pride, and added that SCDS was the only college from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh which is providing an international platform for its designers.
She said that it is a month long programme for both fashion designing and interior designing trainees. During the period of stay, the students will be open to a totally new method of teaching and multi cultural atmosphere.
They are taking many of their project works to present at the university and they would come back with a bundle of new ideas and memories to share with their peers back home, she said and wished the students a safe and a fruitful journey.
