Science drama competition held in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: District level science drama competition was inaugurated by the District Education Officer MV Rajyalakshmi at Bishop Azaraiah Girls High School here on Friday. About seven teams participated from five divisions of the district.

Speaking on the occasion, the DEO appreciated the District Science Officer Mynam Hussain for organising the event on a grand scale. She also appreciated the participants for taking part in the competition and performing in the event. The DEO said that the team which secures first place will participate in the State level competition which will be held at Tirupati.

Hussain said that he has been organising various programmes to encourage students to bring out their creative skill and talent. He organised programmes like 'Clean and Green', 'Ban plastic carry bags', 'Health Awareness', social responsibility and many more. Later, the winning teams were given prizes on the occasion.Deputy Educational Officer L Chandrakala and others were present on the occasion.
