SCR to run 78 special trains for Dasara

Rajamahendravaram: South Central Railway (SCR) will operate special trains to ease Dasara passenger rush from Kakinada Town to various places from October 2. According to SCR Chief Public Relations officer Ch Rakesh, as many as 78 special trains will be operated between Kakinada Town and Raichur via Bhimavaram, Gudivada, Vijayawada and Guntur which is tri-weekly.

Another train between Kakinada Town to Kurnool city which is bi-weekly will also be run to clear rush. The trains will have AC three tier, Sleeper Class and general second class coaches. The SCR appealed to the people to travel in the special trains.
