SCS possible with Jagan only: Modugula Venugopala Reddy

Guntur: YSRCP nominee for Guntur Lok Sabha, Modugula Venugopala Reddy said that the TDP led government in the state cheated the people by diluting the Special Category Status agitation for AP.

Addressing the Atmeeya Samavesam at Brodipet in Guntur city on Saturday, he reminded that the State Assembly had passed a resolution thanking the Centre for granting the special package to AP instead of SCS.

He reminded that when the people of the state were in favour of SCS, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu started Dharma Porata Deeksha for SCS and blaming the Centre for rejecting the SCS.

He said that if YSRCP was voted to power, Jaganmohan Reddy would fight for SCS and added the development of the state would be possible with the YSRCP only. He urged the voters to support the YSRCP for the development of the state.

He said that he has sent several proposals for the development of Guntur city. But Chandrababu Naidu thrown them into dustbin.

Later, he conducted election campaign in Prathipadu along with Prathipadu Assembly candidate Mekathoti Sucharita.

He interacted with pastors and enquired about their problems. Later, they blessed Venuogapala Reddy and Mekathoti Sucharita.
