Sec 30 of Police Act imposed in Guntur Rural: SP Ch Vijaya Rao

Guntur: Rural SP Ch Vijaya Rao imposed Section 30 of the Police Act from December 5 to January 6 in Guntur rural police district limits. He issued orders to this effect. Protests, dharnas, relay fasts and rallies should not be conducted during this period without prior permission from the police department.

If anybody violates the orders, the department will book cases and take stern action against them. He directed the police officials to take steps to implement the Section 30 of the Police Act and sought the cooperation of the public also.
