Second batch of banking course begins

Vijayawada: A guest lecture on 'Recent trends in Business and Employment' and the inaugural of the second batch of Certificate Course on Banking, Finance and Insurance was held at Andhra Loyola College on Friday.

Ajay Sathe, group head, customer experience and CSR, Bajaj Finserv Limited, Mumbai and Pallavi, chief of the certificate courses participated. Speaking on the occasion, Ajay said that companies appoint anyone who has skills required for the job.

Hence being unique and valuable is very important. Pallavi said that today there was a huge gap between the conventional education and what the companies look forward. This certificate course of 120 hours programme will definitely make candidates better employable and would impart the skills required for the corporate sector, she said.

Head of the Business Administration Department MS Shabana Begum, vice-principal Rev Dr Melchior, coordinator of employability skills centre Dr G Sahaya Bhaskaran and faculty members of BBA were present.
