Security beefed up at Kodali Nani's house in Gudivada, bomb squads inspect the residence

The police have increased the security to Andhra Pradesh minister Kodali Nani in the wake of attack on transport minister Perni Nani. As part of precautionary measures, the Bomb Squad conducted inspections at the residence of Gudivada Rajendranagar. Anti-Bomb Squad personnel from Machilipatnam inspected the premises of the house with the help of a sniper dog. Minister Kodali Nani's vehicle also inspected. Metal detector and digital scanners have been set up and security has been beefed up at the residence of Minister Kodali Nani. Those who come to Minister Nani's residence are allowed inside only after a thorough inspection with metal detectors and scanners.

Police are on high alert following an assassination attempt on the minister 's name on the 29th of last month. Security seems to have stepped up to Nani as part of precautionary measures. The mechanism was alerted. A man named Badugu Nageswara Rao, who went to the minister's house on the day of Nani mother's memorial service had pretended to fall on the minister's legs, pulled out the weapon he had taken with him and tried to attack the minister.

Immediately alerted security personnel and YSRCP activists caught the accused. Upon receiving the information, the police reached there and arrested the accused.
