Set back to TDP as the Kadapa leader Satish Reddy likely to join YSR Congress
Kadapa: Political scenario seems to have taken interesting twist after rumours doing rounds in social media over TDP senior leader and former MLC Singa Venkata Satish Kumar Reddy popularly known as Satish Reddy contemplating to quit TDP very soon.
After 2019 general elections, Satish Reddy who distanced himself from political activities from TDP has said to be trying to shift loyalties to YSRCP. The speculations are also doing rounds in social media.
Satish Reddy a native of Vempalli mandal in Pulivendula constituency was a stance leader of Telugu Desam Party who challenged the supremacy of former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy family by launching a political battle in Pulivendula Constituency in the past. Despite losing twice as MLA Satish Reddy was given MLC post for his loyalty and also served as A.P Legislative Council Deputy Chairman in 2017.
Satish Reddy took a protest for the release of irrigation water to Pulivendula constituency and achieved it after taking Jaladeeksha.
However it was reportedly known that the former TDP MLC had been displeasure with party high command for some time following stoic silence maintained by Chandrababu Naidu despite some party leaders are questioning the credibility of Satish Reddy towards the party and insulting him on number of occasions.
