Shun plastic to protect environment: KYA

Srikakulam: Representatives of Kalingandhra Youth Association (KYA) appealed to people to shun use of plastic goods in any form.
They organised a rally against plastic goods here on Sunday and displayed placards against plastic and shouted slogans on negative impacts of plastic goods on environment and human beings. On the occasion, they distributed 1,000 bags made of jute to public.
They also administered pledge against plastic and not to use plastic goods. KYA representatives Konkyana VenuGopal, Seepana Ramesh Kumar and Pydi Sudheer participated in the rally.
