SIDS holds 14th Graduation Day in Guntur
Guntur: The Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences celebrated its 14th Graduation day on a grand scale in Guntur on Wednesday Dr Muralidhar Mupparapu, Director — Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, School of Dental Medicine at University of Pennsylvania, USA was the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Mupparapu said that education should make us more humble and more importantly, humane. He told the students that anyone could be successful if they start believing in themselves and then success comes naturally. He also advised them to bridge the gaps between the older and the present generations and thus make a collective effort for a better tomorrow.
Students must be professional and ethical, he added. A total of 95 students graduated in this program. T Pallavi has received 11 gold medals in various subjects and also the overall topper medal for her best academic performances. Ancha Kavya Sai, Seelam Neelarchana and Kurri Ashritha also received gold medals for their academic excellence.
Dental College Dean Dr L Krishna Prasad read out submitted the annual report and also praised the achievements of this graduating batch. He congratulated all the outgoing students for their endeavors all through their academic career.
Principal Dr B V Ramana Reddy, chief coordinator Dr. L Subba Rao, Director Dr T Krishna Mohan and governing body member, Dr N Upendranadh were also present on the occasion.
