Sitarama Kadha Sudha author felicitated in Rajamahendravaram
Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has underlined the need for an in-depth research about the history of Valmiki who penned the great epic Ramayana. Everyone should know about Valmiki who had given a great boon to the country in the form of Ramayana.
Felicitating Sitarama Kadha Sudha author Deekshitula Subramanyam as part of Rushi Poojas arranged in connection with Valmiki Jayanthi held at Brown Mandir here on Sunday, he said with the cooperation of elite and scholars steps will be taken to bring facts about Valmiki.
Epic Ramayana tells us how to live in society with values and ethics. Deekshitula Subramanyam penned the Ramayanam in simple language in six kandas in the name of Sitarama Kadha Sudha, he averred.
Adi Kavi Nananya University Vice-chancellor Prof P Suresh Varma appealed to MP Margani Bharat Ram to put his endeavour to merge Nannaya Peetham in the University.
Steps will be taken to quote the slokas of Nannaya in all the classrooms of the University, he said. Brown Mandir organizer Sannidhanam Shastry, NR Prakash, P Haranadh, BVSP Kumar, Jora Sarma, KL Bhavani and many others participated in the programme.
