Skill development training for tribal people stressed: ED Dr Hanuma Naik

Kurnool: The Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation Executive Director (ED), Dr Hanuma Naik has said that there is every need to impart skill training to tribal community people. He accompanied with the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer (PO) P Muralidhar held discussions with Srisailam Temple Executive Officer (EO) KS Rama Rao on Thursday on the need of imparting training to tribal community.

Providing training on the production of leaf plates, prasadam cups , jute bags and other echo friendly bags were discussed. They also discussed about tailoring, embroidery, driving and documentation assistant courses to be imparted at Youth Training Center (YTC) located in Sunnipenta. The officials also visited Chintala and Thummala Bayalu chenchu gudems and enquired about the lifestyle and their livelihood.

State Skill Development corporation district officers, TH Vincent, Lokanatham, Rural Development Trust (RDT), Regional Officer, Pushpa Latha, coordinators, K Subbanna, V Krishna Chaitanya and others participated.
