Skill, Innovation and Employability programme held at KLU

Vijayawada: Hero Electric along with Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE-INDIA) organised the first edition of Skill, Innovation & Employability Programme (SIEP) at Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU) here on Tuesday.

The event saw over 200 colleges and 60 teams of 15-20 members participate in the event. Through this event, Hero Electric aims at raising awareness among youths about the benefits of e-mobility while strengthening their skills and expanding their knowledge in future technologies.

Speaking on the occasion, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric India said, "Our commitment to electric mobility goes beyond our business. We want to educate and contribute in developing the skills and future-readying the upcoming generation."

This highly competitive event was divided into three phases – Zonal Round, Final Round and Enactment Round – each testing different parameters of the bike. The competition concluded with the enactment round where the participants tested their vehicles in a variety of conditions – brake test, off-road test, sled pull test, hill climb test and battery performance - and the results were evaluated by Hero Electric engineers.
