SP visits sensitive villages

Amalapuram: East Godavari SP Vishal Gunni visited identified sensitive villages in Mummdivaram, Amalapuram and Razole mandals in the district on Tuesday, as part of creating awareness to voters in identified sensitive villages in view of polling in the district on April 11.

The SP addressed local population in hypersensitive fishermen villages, Bhairavapalem fisher folk village in Mummdivaram mandal, Edarapalli sensitive village in Amalapuram mandal and Tatipaka village in Razole mandal on Tuesday. The SP on this occasion, advised the villagers to exercise their franchise without any fear or favour.

Vishal Gunni also advised them to utilise the C-Vigil app of Election Commission of India in case of any unlawful activities in that area. The SP assured full protection to voters in exercising their franchise, as the police keep constant vigil round the clock. The SP also created awareness to students, the first time voters in exercising their franchise at Edarapalli.
