Spandana drawing huge response from people: Dharmana

Srikakulam: Minister for Roads and Buildings Dharmana Krishna Das on Monday stated that the State government's novel programme 'Spandana' is getting good response from people.

Receiving grievances from public at the Collector's office along with Collector J Nivas at Spandana programme on Monday, the minister said the programme started by the YSRCP government to address grievances was a huge success. The Minister received pleas from public on encroachment of roads at Cheedipudi in Saravakota mandal and a complaint on village volunteer not receiving applications from people on housing scheme from Vakalavalasa village in Srikakulam rural mandal.

Farmers from Madduvalasa ayacut area lodged a complaint on not receiving of water due to lack of repairs to Madduvalasa reservoir. Widows, single women, physically challenged also submitted their pleas to minister for pensions, ration cards, house sites, bank and crop loans. The minister assured them to resolve their problems on quick pace and directed Collector J Nivas to resolve all their issues in a speedy manner. On the occasion, the minister handed over tricycles to physically challenged.
