Sports helps to pramote self confidence: Deputy CM Amzath Basha
Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has said that sports notonly keeps to maintain perfect health and mental condition in perfect manner but also promote self confidence in the students.
Addressing after inaugurating AP CM CUP 2019-2020 organized by Sport Authority of Andhra Pradesh(SAAP), from 9th to 11th February here on Sunday the deputy chief minister Amzath Basha recalled that in view of promoting sports especially in rural areas former chief minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy has established Sports School in Kadapa district.
He said number of students who were got trained in sportss school grown to state,national, internal level as they well settled in the life. The Deputy CM has asserted that comparitively with other states AP is giving much encouragement to the sports men by facilitating with cash awards and allocating funds in a big way for promotion of sports.
SAAP MD K. Baskar Rao has lauded that chief minister is keen of conducting sports every week in all 13 districts in a festive look in view of encouraging students.
He said government is designing a comprehensive plan for conducting 52 kinds different sports in every district in future.He said that as part of initiative in promoting sports government has established sports Acadmys in Pulivendula, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam In the state.
The SAAP MD has disclosed that government has provided special reservations in the jobs to the sports as 2,000 people owned government jobs in the current year.
District Collector CH. Harikiran said that following directions of the government training is being provided to the sports men in different kinds of sports apart from presentlytraining is given for two varieties in Wrestling and Hockey. As many as 600 players from 13 districts participated in 3 day event.
Badvel MLA Venkata Subbaiah, District Youth Services Department Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ramachandra Reddy, District Sports Schools special Officer Basha Mohiddin, District Chief Coach Bhupati Rao Kadapa Municipal Commissioner M. Lavanna and others were present.
