Sri City-based Danieli donates classroom

Tirupati: The Zilla Parishad High school at Irugulam adores a new look with addition of a spacious classroom equipped with adequate desks and benches, donated by the Sri City based Danieli India Limited. Knowing through Sri City Foundation that the high school in their vicinity is having shortage of classrooms, the management of the company came forward to donate a classroom and its furniture costing Rs 10 lakh.

The good gesture was part of the company's corporate social responsibility. In a ceremony conducted on Thursday on the school premises, the MD and CEO of the company Francesco Esposito formally handed over the classroom to the headmaster, in the presence of the company's senior officials Bikramjit Ghosh, Saimon Saiju and Sri City President (Operations) Satish Kamat.

The headmaster of the school Madhusudan has presented the progress of the school and highlighted that the school requires some more classrooms. He mentioned that Danieli has already donated a science lab, toilets and other amenities, and thanked Sri City Foundation for taking up the case with industries.
