Sri City Japanese companies donate benches to schools in Tirupati

Tirupati: As a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Sri City Japanese Companies Group (SJCG) donated desk-cum-bench sets worth of Rs.2 lakhs to the government primary schools at Matherimitta, Cherivi and Irugulam, at a function held at the Matherimitta school premises on Thursday.

Handing over the desks to the Head Masters of the respective schools, Watanabe, Chairman, SJCG said that for the third consecutive year of their CSR initiative, they have donated some classroom desks to the schools in the vicinity, for the convenience of the students.

Saraswathi, Mandal Education Officer, Varadayapalem Mandal, S Surendra Kumar, Senior Manager, Sri City Foundation, Head Masters of schools Eswaraiah, Rama Subbaiah and Chandrasekhar were present.
