Srikakulam: 200 saplings planted in park

Srikakulam: Members of Rotary Club Srikakulam improved amenities at a park near Collector's Bungalow in the city on Monday.
Previously, the District Collector allotted 1.50 acres of land adjacent to the Nagavali river for Rotary Club to improve amenities in the park.
Rotary club assistant governor C V Rajulu, president D Sivasankar and secretary MRK Das said that so far 200 saplings of 15 varieties of plants were planted in the park as part of improving the greenery.
Walking track, rest room, toilets and compound wall will be completed soon, they explained. On the occasion, they initiated a clean and green drive and removed weeds and discarded plastic bottles and covers from the park.
