Srikakulam: Collector J Nivas reviews functioning of SRO

Srikakulam: District Collector J Nivas conducted surprise inspection at the Sub-Registrar Office (SRO) at Amudalavalasa on Monday.

On the occasion, the Collector asked the people who gathered at the SRO about services of the Stamps and Registrations Department. He also inquired about availability of non-judicial stamps, court fee stamps and online services like encumbrance certificate, market value, public copy, search reports etc.

Nivas also inspected records and books of the Registrations Department. He asked the In-charge Sub-Registrar K V Rajesh over issues relating to their duties. The SRO explained about interruptions in online services.

The Collector directed the officials and staff to provide dedicated services to the poor at a quick pace.
