Srikakulam: Government committed to welfare of farmers

Srikakulam: Good days are ahead for farmers in the State, said Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram here on Wednesdayt.

Participating in a programme held by Ponduru Agriculture Market Committee (AMC) to distribute seed to farmers, the Speaker explained that there is no need for farmers to stand in queue for days together for seed.

Previously farmers were facing trouble to get seed, Village Volunteer system established in the State stood as a role model. The YSRCP government is committed to the welfare of the farmers, the Speaker said.
