Srikakulam: The State Election Commission has crossed limits, said Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitharam here on Monday.

Speaking at a press conference here, the Speaker expressed serious concern over the Constitutional bodies being managed

by some individuals. It was totally unfair. The Election Commission said it had postponed the elections in view of threat of coronavirus. It was not coronavirus that led to the Election Commission putting off the poll but due to "Kammona virus," he said.

The postponement of elections would deprive the State of Rs 5,600 crore funds granted by the 14th Finance Commission. He wondered who would take the responsibility for depriving the State of Central funds. minister he questioned.
