Strive for corruption-free society, students told

Vijayawada: Indian Oil Corporation General Manager BVS Prasad said that students should strive for a corruption-free society from the school days itself.

As part of Vigilance awareness week, a programme was organised by the regional corporation south eastern region at Andhra Loyola Engineering College here on Friday. Elocution and essay-writing competitions were held on the occasion.

Prasad said that IOC was organizing vigilance awareness week every year and to create awareness among students they have been organising various awareness programmes.

College assistant professor Rajesh said that students should move forward with new ideas and should not leave any scope for corruption and live a decent life.

The students of MBA department participated in huge number in various programmes organised on the occasion. The winners were given prizes on the occasion. IOC project manager Anil Kumar and others participated in the programme.
