Students participated 1k run in Mydukuru

Kadapa: Students in large numbers in Mydukuru have participated in 1 K run by extending support to the state government of initiative in introducing Disa Act in the interest of preventing sexual on the women on Tuesday.

The event which was organized by the police department begins at Rayala Circle concluded at DSP office.

Mydukuru MLA S. Raghurami Reedy who inaugurated the 1 K run said Andhra Pradesh is the only state first of it's kind in the country introducing Disa Act. The MLA lauded that chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was responsible for introducing such innovative and stringent act to award severe punishment to the culprits within 21 days of indulging in the crime. Municipal Commissioner Ramakrishan, MEO Padmalatha Mydukuru urban CI Madhusudhan Gowd and others were present.
