Students protest against climate change inaction in Bapatla

Bapatla: The high school students in Bapatla on Friday protested against inaction on climate change by boycotting their classes and marching in the streets.

They were striking because the world leaders have yet to acknowledge, prioritise and properly address the climate crisis.

As part of worldwide programme, Kakumanu Social Welfare School students participated in Climate Strike in Bapatla under the aegis of Forum For Better Bapatla.

They are striking because their future is at stake. Forum secretary PC Sai Babu, teachers and students participated.
