Students stages protest seeking continuation of fee reimbursement scheme in Tirupati

Students staged a protest on Tuesday with half bare bodies without shirts in Tirupati against the GO 77 which was issued to cancel the scholarship and fees reimbursement. Students sought to continue the fees reimbursement scheme by Andhra Pradesh government.

SFI and DYFI students and youth leaders stood up in front of YS Rajshekara Reddy statue at TUNDLA Junction and continued the protest for more than one hour and raised slogans against the government attitude in continuing the fees reimbursement to private college PG students.

In this connection, DYFI District Secretary S Jaya Chandra said fees reimbursement scheme was the dream child of late YS Rajshekar Reddy but YS Jagan Government is weakening this scheme. It's a stupid decision which was taken by the YSRCP Government, he asserted.

In the agitation SFI and DYFI leaders Akbar, Prasanna, Nagaraju, Ravi, Jeevan, Rocky were present.
