Students take out a rally against plastic use in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Vignan Institute of Information Technology (Autonomous), Duvvada, conducted an awareness rally on single use of plastic on Tuesday at Steel Plant Junction. Keeping in view of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The unit of VIIT (A) planned multiple activities for three days. An essay writing competition was conducted on the topic 'Mahatma and His Life.'

Rector V Madhusudhan Rao, vice-principal K Madhusudhana Rao, NSS Programme Officer G Kranthi Kumar, and 300 students participated in the rally. Students formed human chain at the Steel Plant junction
