Students urged to emerge as entrepreneurs

Kakinada: AKNU vice-chancellor Prof P Suresh Varma asked the student community to achieve greater heights in life by sheer hard work and dedication by setting goals.

Participating in the first anniversary celebrations of MSN Post-Graduate Centre of Kakinada, after its merger with Adi Kavi Nannaya University (AKNU) on Saturday evening at PG centre premises, the V-C asked the students not only be seekers of employment but also vie for honours to develop as entrepreneurs by setting up small and tiny enterprises.

This is transformation from employment seekers to employment providers, the VC opined.

Registrar of the university Prof S Teki advised the students to turn their attention towards service sector which has plenty of opportunities.

Special officer of PG centre Prof T Ashok also addressed the students.

PG centre governing body member and principal of PR Government College Dr Ch Krishna and former special officers of PG centre Prof D Lakshmana Rao, Prof T Visveswara Rao and others participated.
