Subba Reddy to take charge as TTD chief today

Amaravati: Senior YSRCP leader Y V Subba Reddy, who has been appointed chairman of the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams, will take charge at 11 am on Saturday.
The former member of Parliament, Reddy was not given party ticket to contest the 2019 elections by the leadership.
He aspired for the Rajya Sabha seat, but Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to appoint him as TTD chairman.
TTD chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav, appointed during the earlier TDP regime, had resigned to the post recently clearing the way for Subba Reddy to take charge as new TTD chairman.
It's said that the new TTD governing council will also be formed within four days.
