The controversies around the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam seems to have no end as the leaders irrespective of parties are making the controversial statements. Off late, it is known fact that the senior BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to get rid the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Temple from the control of Andhra Pradesh government. Now he has re-posted the same topic on Twitter stating that the Supreme Court has ruled that the matter should be settled in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Subramanium Swamy recently tweeted that the case is currently in the final stages of the hearing. In his petition, Subramaniam Swamy said that the Tirumala temple, Tiruchanur along with eleven temples has been in control of the Tirumala temple for the past two generation.

He demanded that Hindu religious temples are set free from government under the 1987 Endowments Act. He said that the state government's control on Hindu Religious organization is against the rights of Hindus.
