Summer vacation for IIIT from May 6 to 31
Vijayawada: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Nuzvid campus director Prof C Surya Chandra Rao, administrative officer T Sunil Bhaghat and dean of academics B Prasad officially declared the vacation from May 6 to 31 to all current batch students (PUC-1, PUC-2, E1, E2, E3) on Thursday.
Rao said that after vacation, the reporting dates for individual batches also officially announced and informed to students through various modes as Online Notice Board (ONB), at departmental levels, for smooth running of the institution. RGUKT was planning an Orientation Programme, Induction Programme and British Council Phase-2 Programme during June 2019.
The main objective of the orientation programme was to bring awareness on academic regulations, examination evaluation pattern and Internships guidelines (Long term / Short term) to the students.
The propose of 3-week-long induction programme for the UG students entering the institution was to help them to adjust to the new environment and inculcate in them the ethos of the institution and to create a complete knowledge on different engineering branches at RGUKT by conducting sessions for all faculties of the each department along with laboratory exposure for opting accordingly to their interest of knowledge.
AP state government has been promoting British Council Phase-2 Programme to emphasise the faculty and students towards enhancing their online learning abilities, face to face interviews, English communication skills for encouraging government educational institutions, said Rao.
