The Supreme Court has directed the Andhra Pradesh government to provide the status report and construction images of the Polavaram project. The court asked the government to respond within two weeks to the objections raised by the states of Odisha and Telangana. In its arguments, the Odisha argued that the project is being built violating the Bachavat Award tribunal rules and regulations without prior research.

On the contrary, the Telangana government has said that there is no objection to the project. However, they argued to see that there are no problems for tribals around the villages of Polavaram project.

The state government's advocate told the Supreme Court that the Pollavaram project would continue as usual and there are no changes in the project. Hearing their arguments, the Supreme Court ordered the AP government to answer the objections raised by the Odisha and Telangana governments.

The Andhra Pradesh government's lawyer said that the information on the construction of Polavaram would be provided within two weeks. The Supreme Court then adjourned to the next two weeks.
