SVIMS conducts health camp for TTD employees

Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) provided its services to TTD employees in the two-day mega health camp organised by TTD. A multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, nursing students, 37 MBBS interns, technical and non-technical staff provided their services in the camp.

Doctors from Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gynaecology and General Medicine of SVIMS participated in the general screening camp and cancer screening wad done through SVIMS mobile screening vehicle 'Pink Bus'.

In the two-day camp, 1,345 TTD employees got examined in the SVIMS general camp of which 1,045 have underwent different blood tests and ECG. A total of 300 people got registered for Pink Bus and 163 women were examined and 90 women had mammogram.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director Dr TS Ravikumar has said, "Our aim is to create happiness through health and Happy communities through healthy people and we have been working on for the last few years.".
