Symposium on Mass Spectrometry held IISER Tirupati

Tirupati: More than 100 participants from different colleges, institutes gathered at CV Raman Hall at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERP) Tirupati on Tuesday to attend a mini symposium on mass spectrometry.

A number of eminent scientists, who are actively working with this technology, have presented their research work in the symposium. Prof KN Ganesh, Director of IISER Tirupati spoke about the upcoming revolution of disease detection with mass spectrometry.

Stanford University Professor Richard N Zare, Prof P Balaram and Prof Utpal Tatu of of Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, Dr Siddesh Kamat of IISER Pune, Dr Mahesh Kulkarni of National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, Prof T Pradeep of IIT Madras and Dr Shibdas Banerjee of IISER Tirupati have presented their contributions.
