Take steps to reach Rythu Bharosa benefits to all farmers, says Botcha
Vizianagaram: The district review committee meeting (DRC) organised here on Friday, chaired by district in-charge minister Vellampalli Srinivas, has discussed various public issues including sugarcane farmers issue.
The MLAs have brought several public issues to the notice of DRC and appealed to concerned officers to solve those issues. Bobbili MLA S V Ch Appala Naidu demanded the government to solve the pending bills issue of sugar cane farmers under the purview of NCS Sugars factory or allow the farmers to sell the cane whereever they can.
Minister Botcha Satyanarayana instructed K Vishnu, superintending engineer of AP Transco, not to disconnect power supply to streetlights in the villages on the reason of pending bills.
Both Vellampalli and Botcha directed the agriculture and revenue department officials to work with coordination and take steps to reach Rythu Bharosa scheme benefits to every eligible farmer.
Salur MLA P Rajanna Dora appealed the irrigation officials to take necessary steps to release water for rabi season but P Rambabu, SE of irrigation department, said that they can take decision based on the water levels in the reservoirs after two months only. Roads and building officials stated that they would undertake repair works of roads which were damaged due to recent rains in the district.
Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani, Collector M Harijawahatlal, MPs G Madhavi (Araku), B Chandrasekhar (Vizianagaram) and MVV Satyanarayana (Vizag) were participated in the meeting.
