Guntur: Minister for agriculture marketing Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao alleged that TDP leaders were enacting political drams to save the TDP leaders involved in criminal activities and divert attention of the people.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Venkata Ramana criticised that the TDP leaders who had been trying to derive political mileage from floods so far were now making false propaganda on law and order. He insisted that there was no law and order problem in Palnadu region and added that during the TDP rule seven murders had taken place on a single day there.

Recalling the incidents of Denduluru (West Godavari) former MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar's alleged manhandling of then tashsildar Vanajakshi and MP Kesaneni Nani abusing then transport commissioner Balasurabramaniam, he said the party did not learn a lesson even after voters delivered a severe blow to it by giving only 23 seats.

Narsaraopet MLA Ambati Rambabu demanded that TDP supremo N Chandrbabu Naidu do justice to the victims of former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, former MLAs Kommalapti Sridhar, Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao and former minister Prathipati Pulla Rao.

He alleged that Naidu was levelling baseless allegations against the YSRCP government to divert attention of people. "Our government has no need to take revenge on the TDP since voters have taught it a sound lesson by handing out worst defeat.

We will to Atmakur with victims of the TDP government in Palnadu region from Guntur seek justice for them from Naidu there," he said and asked the former chief minister to stop paying in drama politics with paid artistes.

Narasaraopet MP Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu said that the government would complete Varikapudisila Lift Irrigation Scheme and set up a medical college in Gurazala. He criticised TDP for making false propaganda against the YSRCP government. MLAs Bolla Brahmma Naidu and Gopireddy Srinivasa Reddy also participated in the press meet.
