N Chandrababu Naidu demanded the YSRCP Government to explain why the dalit doctor Sudhakar was being threatened and subjected to harassment

Amaravati: TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu demanded the YSRCP Government to explain why the dalit doctor Sudhakar was being threatened and subjected to harassment.

All the harassment of the YSRCP government led to this present condition of the doctor, who demanded just N95 mask, observed Chandrababu Naidu in a press release on Sunday.

Naidu said that Sudhakar could have been taken into custody without using lathi and tying his hands with a rope. Treating him like an animal was nothing but vengeance, he said.

The TDP Chief, asked why the doctor was stripped on the road? Why was he beaten? Why were his hands tied with a rope? Why was Sudhakar getting threatening calls since the last week? Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy should answer these questions, Naidu demanded.

Naidu said that a dalit doctor being meted out this treatment was a blot on the civil society. "This is barbaric to say the least. I strongly condemn this extreme act by Jagan Reddy Government that has blurred the line between man and animal.", Naidu stated.

On the other hand, the party AP President K Kala Venkatrao expressed concern that lack of facilities was resulting in serious problems to migrant workers who have been walking long distances to reach their native places.

He asserted that the State Government's indifference was the reason for the death of three workers in the sweltering heat conditions in a single day on Saturday. He demanded compensation to them.

Venkatrao deplored that minimum food and water facilities were not being provided to migrant workers. The Government left these workers to their fate. Moreover, they were being subjected to harassment on the roads.
