TDP earmarks Rs 100 cr for welfare of cadre
Amaravati: TDP allocated at least Rs 100 crore special fund for welfare of party cadre per year. Those who have been dedicated their lives, valuable time for the development and strengthening of the party will get benefited with this huge amount. This is the first of its kind service to cadre from any political party in the country.
Addressing at the party brainstorming session's first meeting with the contested candidates of Rajamundry Lok Sabha and seven Assembly constituencies in its limit on Saturday at Mangalagiri in Guntur district on Saturday, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu revealed that he has decided to earmark at least Rs 100 crore special fund for the welfare of cadre.
Naidu said that he has been giving highest priority in the party to cadre and then only to the leaders. He said that he would strive for empowerment of the party rank and file. Financially, socially and politically, the TDP ground level cadre must be proud and for that he would extend cooperation.
The TDP supremo said that the role of booth, village and ward level workers could not be underestimated in these general elections. Stating that the booth level, village and mandal level cadre of Kuppam Assembly constituency became a role model for the rest in the state, Naidu said that he is going to win with huge majority by spending lowest money. Naidu is contested from Kuppam Assembly in Chittoor district and confident that he will win with thumping majority.
Naidu said that leaders must emerge from villages and for that he will encourage the party cadre, who perform well at their respective villages and towns across the state.
Appreciating the service of CBN Army in the general elections - a contingent of about 80,000 dedicated young social workers of TDP - Naidu said that he surprised to see their hard work for winning of party.
