TDP ex-corporators meet Deputy CM Alla Nani
Eluru: Several former corporators of TDP are ready to join the ruling YSRCP and approached Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani to reveal their intention. A couple of former corporators on Tuesday handed over a flower bouquet to Nani and expressed their desire to sail with the YSRCP.
Speaking on the occasion, Nani said he would pursue the matter during the first week of August as he was busy attending the State Assembly. Nani said those who are 'eager' to join the YSRCP are coming forward to support the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
A discussion would be held on their entry only after they resign from their present posts. The party would give priority to those who had determination to serve people, he said.
Sixth division TDP former corporator K Venugopal announced here that several former corporators including R Vimala Devi, P Dasu and Radha Babu would be joining the YSRCP. "Many more are also curious to join YSRCP. They will do so with the consent of Nani," a TDP leader Gopi added.
