Andhra Pradesh decentralization of development and CRDA Amendment bill that have stalled in the Legislative Council has now reached the High Court with TDP MLC Deepak Reddy filing a petition in the High Court stating that it is not implementing the legislative council resolution of sending bill to select committee. The petitioner noted that the legislative secretary had violated the terms of the selection committee.

Deepak Reddy said in the petition that the committee had not been formed despite the resolution of the council. The Secretary of the council is acting contrary to the rules of the Select Committee. The petitioner alleges that the term of the Secretary has also been extended under Quid Pro Quo and the hearing on the petition will be held today.

However, the bills related to the three capitals have passed in the assembly and stalled in the Legislative Council. Chairman Sharif, with his discretion, decided to send the bills to the Select Committee. However, Deepak Reddy argued that the committee has not been set up since then.

On the other hand, the love of Andhra Pradesh headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has dissolved the legislative council and the dissolution is yet to be approved by the centre. Meanwhile, the TDP is demanding for the formation of select committee to report on three capital issue.
