TDP government files petition on EC over police officers transfer

TDP government filed a petition in High Court challenging the orders of Election Commission transferring three top cops on Tuesday night. The court accepted the petition and hearing will be taken up after a Lunch break. TDP also to submit a memorandum to EC.

If need be to approach Supreme Court. Meanwhile, TPCC to write a letter to EC seeking an explanation of why it did not act on their petition during TS Assembly polls and why it acted with lightning speed in AP.
