TDP Kudumuru sitting MLA joins YSRCP

Kurnool: It's another set back for the Telugu Desam Party during the elections movement. Now the Kudumuru sitting MLA Mani Gandhi has resigned to the TDP.

For the 2019 elections, the party has denied the MLA ticket to Mani Gandhi. Over this, he has decided to quit the party and returning back to YSR Congress Party.

As part of the election campaign, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was in Kudumuru Assembly constituency on Saturday, Mani Gandhi has joined the YSRCP in the presence of YS Jagan.

YS Jagan has welcomed Mani Gandhi into the party by facilitating him with YSRCP shawl.

In fact, in 2014 elections Mani Gandhi wins as MLA from YSRCP, and later on two years ago he joined TDP.

On CM Chandrababu Naidu's assurance of MLA ticket, he was continuing with the party. After the final list of MLA candidates released, he learned that the TDP supremo has given him a shock.

The TDP has given the Kudumuru Assembly ticket to former IAS officer Ramanjaneyulu. With the party's decision Mani Gandhi was seriously upset.

Speaking to media Mani Gandhi said in the coming elections he will work for the victory of YSRCP in the constituency and he'll see YS Jagan as Chief Minister of the state.
