TDP leader Chandolu Shobarani to make a movie on Amaravati titled 'Amaravati Naa Capital'
Ever since the announcement of three capitals to the state of Andhra Pradesh, the farmers of Amaravati are raising concerns for more than 55 days raising slogans in support to Amaravati to retain it as capital. Against this backdrop, a woman leader came forward to make a film on the subject of Amaravati. High Court lawyer Chandolu Shobharani, who was the key figure in the Prajya Rajyam Party founded by Tollywood star Chiranjeevi has joined the TDP after merging the party with the Congress. Later, she stayed away from active politics and recently returned to the political screen.
Recently, Shoba Rani made key comments stating that she along with TDP actress Divyavani will be making a film titled "Amaravati Naa capital". The film will be completed and released in a matter of months based on the actual events happening in the movement. On this occasion, she expressed outrage over Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for three capital proposal.
Farmers in Amaravati, who are agitating for more than 50 days have repeatedly been asking not to move the capital. They are holding rallies and relay hunger strikes to retain Amaravati as capital.
