TDP leaders to meet CM on Ganni candidature
Rajamahendravaram: Telugu Desam Party leaders from Rajamahendravaram Rural and Urban, Anaparthi, Rajanagaram, Kovvur and other constituencies went to Amaravati to meet Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to ask him to allot Rajamahendravaram Parliamentary Constituency ticket to Godavari Urban Development Authority chairman Ganni Krishna.
Party leaders V Rambabu, M Vasu and K Naveen Kumar have said that Ganni Krishna is in the party from its inception and also discharged duties as per the directions of the party president and so far he has not contested in any direct election.
Now, he wants to contest from Parliamentary Constituency for which party leadership is not giving consent.
Ganni Krishna is a dedicated and a non-controversial leader having qualifications to contest the elections.
He has good rapport with people in all constituencies and the city party unit unanimously passed a resolution in this regard and sending the same to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
