TDP MLA Anagani Satya Prasad skips Rajya Sabha elections, writes to Naidu he is in quarantine

With the Coronavirus is fast spreading across the globe not leaving anyone including Public representatives who are also left in panic over the deadly virus with three MLAs have been tested positive recently in Telangana. In this backdrop, Andhra Pradesh's Repalli TDP MLA Anagani Satya Prasad, also went under self-quarantine as he met with Telangana MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy, who was corona positive on the advice of doctors.

In the meanwhile, Satya Prasad could not attend the Andhra Pradesh assembly for voting in Rajya Sabha elections. In a letter to TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu, he said that he could not attend the assembly for the Rajya Sabha elections in the state on Friday and explained the current situation.

"I am in self-quarantine on the advice of doctors as I met the coronavirus infected person on business purpose and unable to participate in the Rajya Sabha elections," Satya Prasad wrote in the letter. I made this decision not to pose a threat to the lives of the others because of the coronavirus pandemic. "It is very painful for not participating in the Rajya Sabha elections," he opined in the letter.
