TDP MLAs meet Deputy Speaker over suspension
Amaravati: The TDP MLAs met AP Assembly Deputy Speaker Kona Raghupathi on the suspension of three MLAs. They urged the Deputy Speaker to limit the suspension to only one day. If it is for the complete sessions, then all TDP members must also be suspended, they said, and added that the TDP is ready to cooperate in the Assembly proceedings.
The Opposition MLAs said that it's not right to remove the TDP members from the Assembly. The TDP MLAs Atchannaidu, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and Nimmala Rama Naidu were suspended from the House in the morning on Tuesday.
In this context, The TDP members met with the Deputy Speaker and urged him to lift the suspension. Responding to their request, the Deputy Speaker met with Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy and chief whip Srikanth Reddy.
