Update: 2020-02-18 09:45 IST

The Telugu Desam Party MLCs and other leaders who have planned to visit Delhi to meet the BJP top brass to take the state's issues to the centre's purview have cancelled the tour. As stated earlier, the MLCs are scheduled to go to Delhi on Tuesday and file a complaint with the Prime Minister and Union ministers over the three capitals and abolition of the council.

The TDP leaders have sought the appointment of Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other Union ministers. However, it is reported that they have not got any appointment from BJP top brass in Delhi; hence they cancelled the tour.

On the other hand, the TDP is worried over the rejection of appointment from central leaders on Tuesday as they had to hold the Praja Chaitanya Yatra on Wednesday. The TDP is in dilemma whether to hold the Yatra or not as there are not sure how the developments would turn. It remain to be seen will the BJP top brass would give the appointment to TDP leaders and will TDP hold Praja Chaitanya Yatra.
